Hannah Bourne-Taylor Profile Photo

I am an author and bird conservationist, and almost everything I do is geared towards the protection of birds and wild underdogs.

Writing: My memoir Fledgling is about how the two birds I rescued, hand raised and returned to the wild, changed my life. I’m also a ghostwriter and development editor, working closely with public figures including Anne Glenconner for her award-winning memoir Lady in Waiting and Norman Scott on his memoir An Accidental Icon. My literary agent is Sophie Lambert at C&W.

Bird Conservation: I created The Feather Speech – the national conservation campaign to help swifts and the other endangered birds who share our walls that has become a national cause supported by 110,000 people, cross party politicians, and championed by Zac Goldsmith, covered across the media. I’m a Trustee of Farmland Bird Aid Network, and I have founded The Feather Speech Consultancy CIC to engage housebuilders in conservation measures such as swift bricks.
